What Is a CNA?

A Certified Nursing Assistant works under nurse supervision in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, and home health. CNAs perform hands-on care including vital signs, bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance.

What Is an HHA?

A Home Health Aide provides personal care in patients' homes under RN supervision, following a patient-specific care plan.

  • Clinical hours: At least 16 hours supervised
  • Competency evaluation required

Which Should You Choose?

Can You Be Both?
